Dear Rosemary and family, We are very sorry for your loss and that we will not be able to attend either the viewing or funeral. As you know, Ray and I were in contact by e-mail and shared many of the same views. You can always tell how smart a person is by how much they agree with you. Ray was a very smart man.It will be very difficult to imagine we will not hear from him and share view points. We will pray for him and you all.

To Rosemary and family: It was a privilege to have ministered to Ray this past Saturday when I anointed him and prayed with you. I am currently on retreat at the seminary I attended in Emmitsburg MD. I will pray the God give Ray speedy passage to eternal life and that the light of his comfort be with you in this difficult time.

Mr Conaway played a big role in reinforcing the values my parents taught me growing up. He helped shape me into the person I grew up to be. He never met a stranger. His humor and his warmth always made me feel welcome. The world is a better place for the lives touched by Mr Conaway. I am so sorry for his loss. May your memories comfort you, and the knowledge that he is making the angels smile as they prepare a place for the rest of us.

Rosemary, Gina, Tony, Pat, Andera, I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure that Ray is at peace and surrounded by others that have already passed. He was a wonderful person. And I am sure will be missed by many...thinking of all of you at this sad time....Maryjo

Ray, you have given me so many wonderful and precious memories. Your warmth, sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and presence will be missed in ways I cannot even begin to comprehend. I count myself so fortunate to be able to call you my uncle and my friend. I continue to pray for you, our family, and our friends as we struggle with the gaping hole your passing has left. Thank you for the love you showed all of us. I love you and I miss you. 2 Corinthians 5:8 “we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the LORD.”
