As e-mailed to nearly 300 Siemens IT personnel, worldwide, on July 19th: "I have known Andrew for 15 years—some of you, longer. Andrew’s spirit, curiosity and diligence epitomized our IT culture in systems engineering." Andrew's professional life was rich and impactful. To be more specific, Andrew was alertly supportive and kind to me in my first years with the company. Now, as his senior executive, I owe Andrew a debt of gratitude and, to his family, my deepest sympathy and prayers.

I have worked with Andrew for almost 10 years, we talked quite a bit on different work subjects, but we always ended up talking about our families. I was so impressed with how involved and passionate he was about the Boy Scouts. I will definately miss those conversations. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Andrew was a true professional. Many times I had to call upon him when timing was critical. He always rose to the call and helped me out. He truly cared, and it showed, whether it was pinging me on a topic of interest or by setting up a help site to help others. He always went the extra mile. He will be sincerely missed. Andrew you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers....
