John J. died peacefully on October 17th at 95 years of age.  John was born in Everett, Massachusetts on May 17, 1918.  He was the loving husband of Mildred (Thibeault).  The beloved father of Maureen (Gene) Born, Johnna Coakley, Carol (Tom) Feick and Colleen (Denny) Lengerich.  He was “Grampy” to 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  John is preceded in death by his sisters Mariam Stagliano, Pauline Wellington, Mitzi Coleman and Peggy Fougere.  He leaves his brother William Coakley and Bernadette (Richard) Toth.  John loved his country and proudly served as a captain of a C-47 during World War II in New Guinea and the Philippines.  He was the business manager of Cranley Surgical Group for 40 years.  John was a long time member of Miami View Golf Club.  He and Millie were one of the original family members of St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held at Bayley Place, 990 Bayley Place Drive, 45238 on Monday October 21st from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. with Mass immediately following.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bayley Place or Right to Life Cincinnati.  Radel Funeral Home, 451-8800 serving the family.  www.radelfuneral.com
