ELSIE MARIE (nee KLINK) beloved wife of the late Joseph Deiterman and Dr. Henry Clay Beekley, MD passed away peacefully at the Western Hills Retirement Village at the age of 98 on August 26, 2015. Born in Newport, Kentucky she was the daughter of Katherine (Kate) (nee Wessling} and John Klink. Preceded in death by sister Alma Berwanger and brother John G. Klink. Loving aunt of Henry Clay Beekley III (Kathleen) and the late John Wayne Klink. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews. Dear friend and caregiver Patricia Schuler and a host of friends and acquaintances. She was a graduate of the Our Lady of Providence Academy, St Elizabeth School of Nursing, and a Masters of Science from Our Lady of Cincinnati College-Edgecliff Campus [now part of Xavier University). She was a devoted nurse and operating room supervisor at the St. Francis Hospital in Fairmount and office nurse for Dr. Beekley for over 50 years. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Western Hills Country Club. She attended daily mass and rosary and will be especially remembered for her countless charitable works for the Catholic Church and community agencies. She was a member of The St. Gregory Legacy Society of the Athenaeum of Ohio/Mount St Mary’s Seminary, The Father Finn Society and 1831 Society at Xavier University, The Archbishop Karl J. Alter Society, The Heritage Foundation and the Heritage Legacy Society, Member of the Cincinnati Symphony Club, patron of the Western Wildlife Corridor, and established the Dr. Henry Clay Beekley and Elsie Beekley Science Laboratories at Hillsdale College, Hillsdale Michigan. Her boundless generosity and giving spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her. The family deeply appreciates the abundant care and concern provided over the years by the administration and staff of the Western Hills Retirement Village. Special thanks to Hospice of Cincinnati for their end of life care. Visitation will be Friday, September 4th from 5:00-7:00PM at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 5th 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church. A reception will be held immediately following for all family and friends in the St. Lawrence Hall.
