So sorry to hear about. Edythe. Our family met her and Jim when they moved here from Ohio. Jim served the commnuity well as Veteran officer.. Great people. Her sweet smile and always kind words will be greatly missed. Her positive outlook on life and all her story's I will always cherish. The world is a better place to have had her for so long. Rising Sun was so lucky to have her in our community. Your family was blessed and so were we.. Deepest sympathy.

Edythe was very special to me and I am so grateful I had her in my life for so many years. We started back in Indiana with a Sunday afternoon visit every week. Our friendship blossomed into best friends over the years. I will miss Edythe but know I will see her again one day! Rest in peace dear friend.

I will miss my visits with Miss Edythe. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Edythe was the most faithful person that I knew. If you needed prayers she was there for you and you knew she was not saying one and done...... I love you Miss Edythe.

Edythe has been a great part of my life the past nineteen years here at Senior Housing in Rising Sun. Our yearly trip to Bob Evans for her birthday..... I will definitely miss. In her 100 years of knowledge about life she has taught myself, Paula, & Nancy how to be a great senior citizen when we grow up to be one! Stevie and I have treasured her special cards she sent to our home and the little messages she would leave on our answering machine...letting us know she was thinking of us. Hats off to Edythe Hassett!
