Gert was my partner in crime when I worked at Bayley Place. I took care of her and she took care of me. We worked Assisted Living together on the weekends and I often covered her shifts when she was out. We had such fun conversation and would laugh till our stomach hurt. Yes, she did love to shop. We spoke of the shopping networks often. She had a great sense of humor. She told me once, when the time came for her to leave this world that she wanted to be scattered a bit on this Navy Seal Beach so that all the hot men could just lay on top of her in the sand. I last saw Gert a few months ago. I wish I could have spent some time with her. Gert, I think of you often and thank you so much for being like a Grandma to me. Say hello to Herm and Bud up there. Love you!

Gert was like a second mom to us all growing up in Delhi and hanging out on LibbeJo and swimming at Kathy's. Such a sweet funny lady with a big heart. So many fond memories I will always cherish. Rest In Peace Gert. I will miss you dearly.
