Patricia A. Perkins

Patricia A. Perkins

Perkins,
Patricia A. (nee Kilday)
Pat was born in Cincinnati to Thomas and Elizabeth (VanConey) Kilday. She grew up in the Riverside and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Sedamsville. She graduated from St. Xavier Commercial High School and began her career as a legal secretary a few weeks later at present day Wood & Lamping. She remained at that law firm until her retirement 52 years later.
Pat eloped with the love of her life, Glenn and had 2 daughters, Cindy and Tess.
In addition to her girls, Pat leaves her siblings Doris (the late Jack) Reynolds, Kathy (Bob) Curtis, Dennis (Ruth) Kilday, her sister –in-law Joyce (the late Tom) Kilday, her son-law Doug Lynch, her granddog Sadie, granddaughters Maggie (Ryan) Robertson and Mary (Brad) Wiegle. Great Nan to Olivia and Claire Robertson and Aidan, Clayton and Cori Wiegele. She was Aunt Pat to many nieces, nephews and ½ the kids in the neighborhood. Mrs. P. to many others. Uncle Pat to 2. She is the last of her generation in the Perkins family.
Pat was a beautiful, loving and caring person who readily gave of her time and talents to others. Her last journey began several years ago and was long and difficult, yet she retained a lot of her “Patness” always worrying about the effects this journey had on her girls.
Pat passed early Saturday, September 2, 2017. Visitation is Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial, Holy Family Church, Saturday September 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bayley Adult Day Program or to Holy Family Food Pantry
Cindy and Tess would like to thank all of her special caretakers at Bayley Adult Day Program, Aunt Doris, her sister and friend, Ruth Kilday, the Council on Aging and all who helped to keep mom at home.

Cindy & Tess, It saddened me to hear of the loss of your Mother. She was such a wonderful cousin. I can remember visiting Aunt Liz's and she was so sweet. Pat and Doris were two peas in a pod, seemed like they were always together. May she rest in peace. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
