SHIRLEY M. (nee Hucke) passed away peacefully on February 9, 2018, preceded in death by her husband, Carl G. Hausfeld, and her cherished granddaughter, Kristan Marie Strutz. Loving mother of Lori, Becky, Carla Hennies, Bob Hennies, Karen (Bernie) Broering, David and Steve Hausfeld. Devoted grandmother of Lindsey (Brandon) Frimming and Nick Hennies and great-grandmother (“gran-gran”) of Aaron Broering and Arielle, Allie and Abigail Strutz and Penelope and Jude Frimming
Dearest sister of Joann Jones and the late Eugene Hucke and Janet Wainright. Caring sister-in-law of Nancy Hucke and the late Bill Jones, Charles Wainright, Elmer (Josephine) Hausfeld, Howard (Alice) Hausfeld, Johnny Hausfeld, Alma (Lincoln) Weis, Luella (Harold) Drewes, Norma Hausfeld, Alice (Bob) Portune and Eleanor (Jim) Redmond.
Mom had a special place in her heart for all of her nieces and nephews and at age 85 could still recount fond memories of each.
She was born on March 2, 1932 to Eric and Loretta Hucke and grew up on Mt. Hope Road in Price Hill. She graduated from Western Hills High School in 1950 and married Carl Hausfeld on July 3, 1953.
She had an unwavering faith in Jesus and was a member of Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills, Cincinnati, Ohio for over 50 years. She served as Word of Life Club Leader with Joann Smith, her best friend of many years.
Her spirit and compassionate heart will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, February 16th from 5-7 PM at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road. 451-8800. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17th 10:00 AM at the funeral home immediately followed by procession to graveside burial at St. John Cemetery 1065 Neeb Road. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills, 705 Pontius Road, 45233.

We especially would like to thank the staff of Mercy Health - West Park for their dedication and service to our mother during her stay there.

Our sincere condolences to the whole family. Shirley was one of the dearest people we have ever met. She was thoughtful when Alma needed help. She was always smiling.
