Aunt LaVerne was much loved and will be deeply missed. She always acknowledged us individually as children at gatherings, and that endeared her to us. You all can be proud of how you cared for her as she became ill. I'm sure she knew how much she was loved.

Oh Aunt LaVerne. You were always so sweet to your nephews and nieces. You provided us love, encouragement and an interested ear as well as laughter at family events. To my Higgins cousins: Mike Kathy, Eileen, Michelle, Mary Jim and Sharon. I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom and Dad were both personal heros of mine. You were blessed to have her as long as you did. Lenora passed away 27 years ago in June and George 32 years ago. They were all the Greatest Generation and the left the world a better place with the children they raised. Love Pete
