Charles "Skip" Miller

Charles "Skip" Miller

In loving memory of Charles Kenneth Miller, known to all as Skip.
Skip is lovingly remembered by his mother Evelyn; brother Gary Miller (Debbie); sister Cathy Richardson (Jeff) and nieces & nephews Rachel, Sarah, Caitlyn, John-Michael, and Chris.
He is also loved and remembered by his Uncle Dick Miller, Aunt Sis Miller, and Uncle Monroe Bates, in addition to numerous other relatives in Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Charles H. Miller.
Skip was born on June 9, 1947 to Charles and Evelyn Miller and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Oak Hills High School where he played on the varsity golf team. Upon graduation, Skip attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
While at Miami, he was an ROTC member as well as a proud member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. With a marketing degree in hand, Skip was hired as a buyer for Federated Department Stores. In 1982, he joined the realty team of Coldwell Banker where he worked for almost forty years before retiring.
Skip was an avid golfer, fisherman, and book lover and it wasn’t unusual to find him at the black-jack table or on an occasional slot machine. He was a man of few words, and was as kind and selfless as they come.
He was so loved and will be missed by all of us. We love you Skip.
Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.
A “Celebration of Skip’s Life” party will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association

The Skipper was my manager when I arrived at Coldwell Banker Heritage in 2007. He quickly became a dear friend and confidant. He was hugely instrumental in my success and I would not be where I am today without him. I loved Skip dearly and will miss him greatly.
