Patricia “Pat”, age 80 died on All Saints Day, November 1, 2018. Pat was born December 4, 1937 in Garden City, Kansas, the oldest of 3 children of Millard M. and Ora Lee Higgins. In 1957, Pat married the love of her life Norman A. Murdock for 53 years before his passing in 2010. Norman served as a public official and attorney in Cincinnati, OH.

A Mother of 6 children: Norman (Brenda) Murdock, Louis (Judith) Murdock, Patrick Murdock, Suzanne (William) Cavanaugh, Michael (Constance) Murdock, John (Julia) Murdock. A Grandmother of 15: Maria (Jason) Walley, Madeline Murdock, John Murdock, Joseph Murdock, Suzie Murdock, Samuel (Regan) Murdock, Stephen Cavanaugh, John Cavanaugh, Patricia Cavanaugh, Mary Cavanaugh, Nicholas Murdock, Luke Murdock, Emile Murdock, Matthew Murdock, and Paul Murdock. A Great Grandmother of James and Leo Walley. Pat is survived by her brother, Michael Higgins and her sister, Mary Gere as well as countless beloved friends.

Visitation is at Radel Funeral Home at 650 Neeb Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45238 on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church at 814 Hawthorne Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45205 on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in remembrance of her to St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry at Holy Family Parish.

Faith, family, friends, education, music, art, and community were Pat's devotions. She attended Oklahoma College for Women on a music scholarship. She entertained the American Troops in Europe as part of "the Kids from Home" during the Summer of 1956. She completed her College Degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 1982 graduating Suma Cum Laude. She enjoyed a career at the College of Mount St. Joseph as Assoc. VP in Development and then went on to the Cincinnati Art Museum as the Director of Development. "God is good all the time."

We are saddened to hrar of the death of our dear friend Pat. It is only fitting that she would pass away on All Saints day . Shre was an exceptional person and the obituary is so perfect. Our love and prayers to the Murdock family on your loss.

Love and peace to the Murdock family. Pat was an amazingly accomplished woman. I have wonderful memories of taking classes with Pat. She raised a beautiful family.
