Mary Emma Nieman

Mary E. Nieman , 95, passed away on Thursday Dec 13 2018.
Preceeded in death by her husband, Jack. Survived by son Thomas and daughter in law Mary, grandchildren, Heather (Nieman) Davidson/John Davidson and Aaron Nieman/Tanya Romaniuk, great-grandchildren, Jack and AJ Davidson.
A Cincinnati native her whole life. During WWII worked at NAS Houma LA, supporting the war effort. Upon return to Cincinnati joined the Provident Bank and after a life- long career retired from there. Always devoted to helping others she was an active volunteer at Santa Maria Community Service,
Meals on Wheels, The Womens Connection, and St Michaels Community Center, as well as many other service organizations needing help. She could always be found working at the Holy Family parish and Delhi Police festivals. A life long supporter of St Ritas School for the deaf. Thru age 94 she was very active, lived independently, cared for herself and enjoyed her weekly outings to Bayley Place for the physical as well as social activities. She was a lover of dogs, and all living creatures. Early in life she was a participant in the Alsatian Society of Cincinnati and always was proud of her heritage. She asks to be remembered in your donations to education, Hank Mueller- Elder High School Scholarship Fund and animal welfare, local SPCA.
Memorial Mass Service will be held on Dec 26 2018 at HOLY FAMILY CHURCH at 11:00 A.M. Immediately followed by a Celebration of Life lunch from 1:30-4:30 PM at THE FARM, Anderson Ferry Rd –Delhi. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
